Dream a Little Dream that Finally Comes True
Sewing has always been a part of my life. Most of my dresses were made by my mother, and she took the time to pass me down her skill to me. I am so thankful for that.
In 2006 I began creating prints that were meant for either fabric design or scrap booking paper. I had no clue how to go about it. I even explored my options with companies in China. Then, I gave up for the time being, until the time was right for me to pursue it again.
I am happy to inform you that the time has come and my fabrics will be up and selling on Etsy.Made in the USA!
I love sewing and as soon as my sample fabrics came I made that little cell phone holder for my daughter.

Back in 2007 my web site at Elaine Biss was all black with a cute little animation of my fashion girl here. Though my web site has changed quite a bit, I still print collateral with her in it. There is just something very girly sweet about her. I always thought it was the messy stuff around her.
The fact is that Michelle Obama is the next iconic lady of this century, to me anyway. Her style is very classy and it doesn`t date her pictures to any era. Her sweet pose accentuates her figure and exudes femininity. Kudos to the photographers at Glamour!!!

November is for Scrapbooking
The leaves are falling, it`s colder out, days are shorter and all you want to do is retreat indoors with family and friends. Besides baking and knitting my own blankeys in autumn, I scrapbook.
I was feeling whimsical, and all I could think of was paisleys. This is a very different genre from my fashion sketches, but the mood hit and I obliged. I combined print over prints, shields and ribbons, stripes and paisley... TA DA!!
I was so inspired I churned out a whole line of papers, stickers and binders which will be unveiled during the month of November.
